The mission of the OceanGate Foundation is to expand humanity's understanding of the world's oceans through exploration, education and outreach. We achieve our goals by:
  • Organizing exploration expeditions that are scientifically, historically, or environmentally critical
  • Developing educational programs for students and teachers
  • Fostering a network of local, regional, national and international partners to leverage our collective assets and expertise
  • Inspiring a wide range of people to support ocean exploration and the discovery of the deep
  • Freely sharing all data collected during exploration expeditions for scientific, research, and educational uses

This relationship provides the Foundation with priority access to OceanGate, Inc.’s equipment and experts, and allows the OceanGate Foundation to more efficiently provide these assets to other organizations that we support.
